The “National Turkish Sovereignty and Children’s Day” is celebrated annually on April 23rd. This year, it coincides with Eid-al-Fitr, a double festivity for youth and children in Turkiye! RET has been working with young people providing life skills training and strengthening their resilience and educational opportunities, since 2014.
The “Local Women’s Socio-Economic Empowerment and Social Skills Development for Social Cohesion and Youth Empowerment” project implemented by RET, in partnership with LEAP Turkiye, aims to empower vulnerable young people and children (aged 12-25 years) from the refugee and host communities by providing them with awareness-raising sessions on social cohesion and developing their communication skills and musical talents through training courses. #Music as a tool to increase social cohesion amongst the host and refugee adolescents and youth in Turkiye.
