Today, on World Refugee Day, RET, in partnership with LEAP Turkiye, organised a “Dear Future Me” career day activity in Mardin, aiming to inspire and empower young girls from both refugee and host communities.

RET brought together 50 young girls, providing them with a unique opportunity to interact with professionals from various fields. Experts, including a doctor, nurse, psychologist, bank officer, tourist guide, and interpreter, shared their invaluable insights, leaving a lasting impact on the girls’ aspirations. This event served as a catalyst for them to envision and shape their own futures, reinforcing the importance of knowledge and mentorship on their path to success.
The participants of RET’s Music Classes in Mardin showcased their talent through a captivating concert at the end, fostering social cohesion and bridging divides among refugee and local youngsters.

On this World Refugee Day, let us celebrate the power of inspiration, education, and cultural exchange, as we work together to create a brighter future for all.
