RET has been implementing the “Turkish and English Language Learning Program as a Social Cohesion Tool” project since 2021, in partnership with LEAP Turkiye. As of 2023, RET kicked off the project’s second phase to run until December 2025.
The project aims to support the host and refugee communities’ participants to improve their language skills through Turkish and English classes and enhance communication through creative and interactive teaching methods. It also aims to integrate the refugee participants in public spheres and support their social integration and social cohesion through its language classes in Mardin, Şanlıurfa, Ankara, and Samsun.
